The Law, which is one of the preconditions for Serbia's WTO accession, should prevent illegal production and trade of the optical discs thus providing better protection of the intellectual property rights (IPR) in Serbia. It governs manufacture, reproduction, import and export of the optical disks along with the supplementing equipment. AmCham will monitor drafting of the bylaws to this Law as well the implementation of the Law once it comes into the force.
