AmCham in UN Global Compact

AmCham in UNDP Global Compact

Since Fall 2008, AmCham actively participates with a designated representative at meetings organized by UN Global Compact in Serbia, in particular within the working group for social inclusion and the working group for developing the national CSR strategy.

Since the spring 2009. Ministery of Labor and Social Policy initiated formation of the official Government Working Group for Designing National CSR Strategy. AmCham and Erste bank are providing inputs and suggestions thus representing the business sector. According to the plans of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy the strategy should be finished by the first quarter of 2010.

UN Global Compact sent its comments to the Draft National CSR Strategy. Under the auspices of Global Compact AmCham contributed to this document.
