Meet the Business First Hand program aims to provide support for students and recent graduates in developing the relevant knowledge and skills for future employment. The aim is achieved through half-day company visits to the renowned foreign investors and successful local companies whereby students can interact directly with top management. The program is implemented jointly since 2008 by AmCham and the Centre for Career Development of the University of Belgrade.
On December 16, 2010, AmCham and the Center for Career Development and Student Counseling of the University of Belgrade launched a program entitled “Kadar da budem kadar” (‘Qualified to be qualified` ) aimed at improving the employment skills of students and graduates and preparing them for the modern labor market. The “Kadar da budem kadar” program is to be held twice a year featuring a series of training courses on “soft” skills necessary for career development and professional success. The courses were conducted by AmCham HR Committee representatives, both HR managers and consultants.
