AmCham Members Learn Concepts Behind New Food Safety Law Changes

On April 12, AmCham hosted a Business Today Seminar by Dejan Krnjajic, State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, who presented planned amendments to the Food Safety Law which should be completed by June and adopted in the autumn.

On March 27, AmCham was invited by the Tax Administration and Tanjug as an institutional partner in organizing a Roundtable on improving the work of the Tax Administration. Public Discussion on the Draft Law on Compensations co-hosted by AmCham and the FIC

AmCham welcomes the Draft Law on Compensations and points out that opportunity for reviewing levels of all charges and their clear setting in the Law should not be missed.After the Law on Compensation is adopted, finalization of parafiscal charges should be focused to the careful revision of the Construction Land Use Charge, as well as the Land Development Charge, with exploring alternative sources of funds to local level.
