On July 8, AmCham Serbia and N1 TV welcomed CEOs and communications and marketing managers from the AmCham membership to the N1 Headquarters in Belgrade. There the guests got a first-hand introduction to N1 TV, a CNN affiliated, regional info news channel that will go on air in early September as well as a sneak preview of how the channel is preparing for the launch
N1 will broadcast from three major production centers: Zagreb, Belgrade and Sarajevo, with smaller “news hubs” located in cities across the region to reach over 15 million viewers across the region.The concept of the N1 television project was presented to the guests by N1 TV executives: Brent Sadler, CEO, Rusmir Nefić, COO Zoran Stevanović, Program Director and Jugoslav Ćosic, Program Director for Serbia.
“By affiliating with CNN the N1 network can draw on a wealth of global experience in the fields of newsgathering and program making,”. said CEO Brent Sadler “On the other hand, N1 TV will serve as a tunnel through which the information from the region will find its way to wider media coverage.” The N1 hosts explained how the new television channel will offer vibrant, informative and unique 24-hour content to viewers, a great part of which will bebusiness news covering economic and regional issues. “N1 will stand for reliable news 24 hours a day,” concluded Rusmir Nefić.
On this occasion, AmCham members present had a unique opportunity to hear more about N1’s cutting-edge technology and to meet its team of dedicated professionals, as well as to havean exclusive look at N1’s initial jingles, announcements and graphic solutions. At the nd of the visit, the bravest attendees had the chance to assume the role of TV presenter by reading global breaking news. In this way, they tested their media skills and obtained tips and techniques for their media appearances from the most competent media professionals in the region.
