AmChamps Perspective: Enterpreneurship and Startup

Young leaders participated in another discussion within AmChamps program

AmChamps Perspective on the topic of entrepreneurship was held on April 20th at AmCham premises. The discussion was led by Zoja Kukić, author and editor at Startit, and Slobodan Đinović, CEO of Orion Telekom.
This discussion revolved around many disagreements on the topics of entrepreneurship and startup. It was guided by the questions of AmChamps young leaders, who were interested in issues such as determining the best age for engaging in startup projects, overcoming challenges of pursuing business, gaining necessary traits for succeeding in entrepreneurship, obtaining sufficient capital and financial resources for a startup, etc. Additionally, topics of discussion included the opportunity for starting a business outside of the IT sector and the motivation necessary for taking initial steps in entrepreneurship.
Lecturers answered the questions based on their rich personal experiences in respective fields. SEE ICT- Start it is a non-government organization that supports young entrepreneurs from the IT industry and connects them with investors. Orion Telekom provides great support to startups through a project named ICT HUB. The project facilitates growth of entrepreneurship by providing startups with appropriate facilities, networking with businesses, and many other kinds of support.
