Van Drunen Farms in Serbia Generated USD 10 Milion in Reveues in 2016

A branch of the U.S. company Van Drunen Farms in Serbia (VDF) in Banatsko Karađordjevo achieved annual gross revenue about 10 million USD for the year 2016.

The branch of VDF in Serbia is the biggest american investment in agriculture in Serbia, worth $13 milion USD and about 90% of its products are exports to its parent company in the U.S. Many of its products, exported to the United States, are subject to the application of preferential tariff rates (GSP). The manufacturing plant employs 63 person and annually produces 2 800 tons of frozen fruits and vegetables. The company works with some 10 suppliers of fruits and vegetables throughout Serbia, and the chain of production and delivery includes more than a thousand people.

VDF is a family company from Momence, Illinois, USA, founded in 1856. The company in Serbia was opened in 2002. as VDF's only company outside the U.S. Since 2001, U.S. companies have invested in Serbia almost $4 billion and employ more than 17.000 people.
