British American Tobacco aids those most at risk

The global tobacco group has made a donation to Belgrade Gerontology Centre, helping the institution to purchase medical equipment

For British American Tobacco (BAT), social responsibility has always been a guiding principle, and never more so than in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, with the company having invested resources to aid those most at risk and the institutions that protect them.

Donations to Belgrade Gerontology Centre and Vranje Red Cross are just some of BAT’s activities in support of both local communities and the social and healthcare services responding to the Covid-19 crisis.

This month’s donation to the Gerontology Centre will help the institution purchase much-needed medical equipment. These state-of-the art devices will make it easier for staff to care for the Centre’s residents and give our senior citizens access to critical treatments and rehabilitation.
