Ball Packaging donated an ambulance to the Clinical and Hospital Centre of Zemun
Ball continued with its CSR activities with a donation of an ambulance to the Clinical and Hospital Centre of Zemun, one of the most relevant links of Serbia’s medical system in the response to the COVID-19 pandemic. On behalf of the company, Branislav Savić, Plant Manager of Ball Beverage Packaging Europe in Belgrade, and Nikola Narančić, Sales Director Southeast Europe Ball Beverage Packaging Europe, symbolically granted a key of the ambulance to Prof. Dr Dragoš Stojanović, Director of the Clinical and Hospital Centre of Zemun.
“This donation is our modest contribution to the local community and healthcare institutions, whose doctors and staff have been fighting coronavirus around the clock in the past five months”, said Branislav Savić, underlining that Ball has long-standing cooperation with the KBC Zemun, and that the company employees regularly participate in blood donation campaigns.
Prof. Dr Dragoš Stojanović, Director of the Clinical and Hospital Centre of Zemun, thanked for the donation. “We are very glad that there are companies which, at this moment, when Serbia and the rest of the world are jointly responding to the new, globally threatening coronavirus, recognize and appreciate efforts and work of all of us, healthcare professionals. It is an exceptional honour when a large global company, such as Ball, recognises efforts we invest in protecting public health across Serbia. That is why we are particularly grateful for the donation of the ambulance to the Clinical and Hospital Centre of Zemun, which helps us transport patients and enables faster response to all those in need of aid and care. We believe that, thanks to this donation, we will perform our job in an even faster and more efficient manner, because every second is precious in saving lives,” said Prof. Dr Dragoš Stojanović, Director of the Clinical and Hospital Centre of Zemun.
