On Thursday, February 3, AmCham held a traditional Pre-election Cocktail to introduce nine candidates for the six two-year terms as Board members.
Belgrade, February 3, 2011 –On Thursday, February 3, AmCham held a traditional Pre-election Cocktail Party at the Diva restaurant in Grand Casino Belgrade to introduce nine candidates for the six two-year terms as Board members - in particular for the positions of Second-Vice President and Secretary-Treasurer, as well as for four Untitled positions asGovernors.The candidates had the opportunity to present their reasons for aspiring to serve on the AmCham Board of Governors. In addition, during the question and answer session, several important issues were addressed, including the strategic priorities of AmCham in 2011, potential contribution to the existing business advocacy initiatives, the future potential of AmCham’s role in promoting the concept of corporate social responsibility in Serbia, contribution to AmCham economic diplomacy activities, and the approach to membership satisfaction espoused by the prospective Board members. Finally, AmCham President Vladan Živanović took the opportunity to invite members to come to AmCham’s General Assembly Meeting on the 10th of February at the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra.
