DEVELOPING TOMORROW’S LEADERS

In 2014, we created AmChamps as EXCLUSIVE, ANNUAL, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM to:

  • Boost leadership potentials in young mangers by providing platform for upgrading their professional knowledge, developing their mentoring skills and expending pool of their business contacts;
  • Promote AmCham member companies as socially responsible and source of top expertis;
  • Develop employment and talent pool by endowing students with the opportunity to gain practical knowledge, acquire modern working skills necessary for today’s business environment and get internship in renowned AmCham member companies;
  • Position AmChamps as a prestigious and unique business educational program in Serbia that will help in bridging the gap of the Serbian educational system and connecting business sector with academia.

20 INSPIRING MANAGERS & 20 MOTIVATED STUDENTS

A total of 40 participants is selected for each Class – 20 students & 20 young managers. Students should be final year or enrolled in master studies at the University of Belgrade and should have up to 25 years. AmCham members should be young and mid-managers of up to 35 years.


MENTORING - PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL GROW

At the beginning of the program, at the special speed dating event, participants are matched in mixed pairs (one student-one young manager), whereas young managers observe the role of mentor and students of the mentee. Thus, a special mentoring consultant monitors and evaluates mentoring process throughout the program.
