TWO YEAR AGENDA PROPOSAL

2020 – 2022 AGENDA PROPOSAL

Capacity building of key inspections and authorities relevant for addressing illicit trade of various products and services on the Internet and infringements of intellectual property rights (IPR). Enhancing usage of existing software and hardware in Trade inspection, intended for supervision of online illicit advertising and trade;

Insisting on implementation of adopted Sequences of procedures (particularly on Sequence of procedures on fighting online illicit trade) and reaching appropriate reporting mechanism;

Meetings of Committee membership with heads of Trade Inspection, Tax Inspection and Tax Police, Inspection for Medicines, Ministry of Interior and Special Prosecutor for the High-Tech Crime, so as to learn about developments in their respective areas and provide synergies where appropriate;

Assisting Government in establishing optimal system for well organized, efficient and cost effective process for storage and destruction of seized goods:
  • mapping of the existing capacities,
  • exploring the needs of different law enforcement agencies,
  • assisting in finding new solutions;
Facilitate experience sharing among prosecutors and law enforcement agencies, in order to assess and adjust approaches for future cases;

Monitoring statistics and existing records about court decisions on illicit trade and IPR cases.
