At the Startit Center last night, as part of the “SMART Trio” series of events organized by the AmCham in partnership with the University of Sheffield’s City College, Marija Desivojević, Delta Holding’s Vice President for strategic and research development, Igor Bogićević, co-founder and Technical director of Boston-Belgrade startup Seven Bridges, and Darko Mandić, co-founder of Belgrade startup Little Blue Pot and President of the BEUM association, shared their extraordinary stories and experiences of success in their business and personal lives.
Marija talked about her successful business career and her recent amazing accomplishment in finishing the Ironman race, one of the toughest one-day sporting events in the world. She also mentioned her successful climbing expedition in the Himalayas, emphasizing that she achieved while being the mother of two kids, which she considers her greatest success. Igor told the audience about the path followed by the now globally successful startup Seven Bridges which the MIT Technology Review rates among the world’s 50 smartest companies. Darko shared his life story with the audience, telling them how he became a successful entrepreneur at only 26 years of age.
Through three remarkable and inspiring stories, and with the support of WineQ- Center for Wine Culturethe audience had a unique opportunity to hear more about the meaning of success over a glass of the Aleksandrović Wineryprestigious "Trijumf" wine. Participants heard about all sides of success, what it brings, and how to be successful in several fields of life. The three guests shared their experiences with the audience and tried to uncover the golden formula for success.
